In February 2018 René and Kim Zimmerman moved from Erkelenz, Germany to Sarasota and a dream came true. It took them over one year to find their perfect spot, Siegfried’s Restaurant at1869 Fruitville Road, Sarasota (941-330-9330). Finally they found it in this beautiful cottage located on Fruitville Road which opened in early July two years ago. Transforming the former Tea House was a labor of love and it all came together beautifully with mix and match tables and chairs along with a cozy bar certainly add to the atmosphere. A wonderful selection of German dishes are here to enjoy with a nice emphasis on sausages, cheese, salads and of course fantastic breads.
