Terrific specials include a Taco Tuesday night with $1.25 hard shell tacos from 5pm to close and a Margarita Wednesday with $3.99 house margaritas from 5 pm to close. Happy Hour is served daily with great drink specials ($3.99 margaritas again along with wine and well drinks) and as always, with wonderful food as well, 7 days a week. We have always had great service and food at Habanero’s, one of the best. Look for their sister restaurant Avocados to open soon on Cortez Road West in Bradenton.
Although he is not new in the restaurant business, Owner Vinny Esposito has had great success at his Italian Market and Gourmet Deli Vinny’s Italian Kitchen at 5537 Gulf Drive in Holmes Beach, (941-896-9754). A paisan from Newark, New Jersey, Vinny is an extremely personable fellow who really loves what he does, and what he does is create some delicious and authentic Italian cuisine right in “the heart of Anna Maria Island.”
