impresses me here with questions being answered politely and smiles of the customers from each table. I think dining here puts people who have been to France in a nostalgic mood or for those who haven’t, what they are missing. Outside seats another 30 amongst the umbrellas and promenade of Main Street in LWR.
The choices here are many and a popular selection is the Chef’s Menu with a choice being one entree for $25.90 or including an appetizer for $31.90. The appetizers include Gorgonzola Salad, Smoked Salmon Salad Hot Brie Salad, French Onion Soup. Moules Provençale and more. Entree selections are Beef Bourguignon, Fish Niçoise, Petite Bouillabaisse or Chicken Normandie as some selections. All entrees are served with Dauphinois or rice and vegetables.
From the a la carte menu are Canard a l’Orange, Cassoulet, Filet de Boeuf as a few of the entrees. A varied selection of Moules (mussels) are also offered at Paris Bistrot and do save room for the ever so delicious dessert crepes with 24 choices to savor.
New here is their Champagne Bar with over 20 selections to choose from and flights of the bubbly are 3 tastings for $25. It has been very popular and the bar is very welcoming or you can enjoy at your table. Theownersandstaff JeanChristophe(JC),Alexandra,Pierre,Lucieand Harvey and Herlinda all work together as a team and their history goes back to the Island Creperie in Bradenton Beach many years ago. Their hours are lunch Tuesday - Friday 11-2, Saturday and Sunday breakfast and lunch 8:30am-2pm and dinner every night 5-9pm. Make plans for Christmas and New Year’s Eve here with a special menu. What a success story the Lazy Lobster of Longboat has been as they are moving into their 11th year on Longboat Key at 5350 Gulf of Mexico Drive, Longboat Key (941-383-0440). They continue to have record-setting years of business, and with good reason. A very com- fortable dining room, bar and outdoor patio are all part of the ambiance here. Couple that with superb service and of course delicious and reasonably priced food...well you have a winner! Enjoy their early dining specials 4 to 5:15PM, happy hour from 4 to 5:30PM and dinner nightly from 4 to 9PM. Congratulations to all here as they continue to set the mark of a well-run restaurant whose popularity is continually growing. Did someone say “lobster?” You bet they have them! Lunch service is in full swing again and they also have a terrific outdoor patio for safe lunch or dinner service. Be sure to visit their second restaurant location at 7602 North Lockwood Ridge Road in Sarasota (941-351- 5515) for a great dinner with a fantastic variety of seafood specialties and landlubber foods.
Their sister restaurant Kacey’s Seafood at 4904 Fruitville Road in Sarasota (941-378-3644) is more casual and offers a fab value and selection of seafood including Gulf Shrimp, Ahi Tuna, Fish Tacos, Lobster Bisque, Seafood Baskets, Sandwiches, BBQ Ribs, Burgers and more. Don’t forget their Online Ordering platform for Take-Out orders for all three restaurants, available through their websites.
Who doesn’t like ice cream! The Lazy Lobster is very proud to have formed a partnership with friends, Dan and Rob Alderson at Tyler's Homemade Ice Cream to bring you Tyler’s of Longboat! The Alderson’s successfully operate in Manatee County already with the orig- inal Tyler’s on Cortez Road.
