Newer here is the addition of Tito and Liana’s native Portuguese dishes along with your favorite Italian selections. They have created an Italian-Portuguese fusion at Amore and it has been highly embraced by diners. It is a 50/50 split with both nationalities here, just enjoy it all. Try the Seafood Cataplana, which is a “Portuguese Classic.” The dish contains a lobster tail, shrimp, clams, calamari and mussels and steamed in flavor- ful broth. The food is cooked and served in the unique copper pan and opened at the table; a nice presentation and has been a very popular new dish here. Another Cataplana selection can be with pork loins and clams. Other Portuguese dishes served are the Bacalhau (salted sea cod) Lagareiro, Octopus, and Pork Chop with Alheira sauce. Italian menu choices are varied and include: Eggplant Parmigiana, Rack of Lamb, Branzino, Linguini Pescatore and Pappardelle Bolognese amongst others. The delicious desserts go from popular Portuguese Pasteis de Nata to Italian traditional Tiramisu.
A wonderful special dinner for two with three courses and a select bottle of wine is now available nightly for only $79.99 (plus taxes & gratuity). What a deal! They are open for dinner and live entertainment Wednesday through Sunday from 6 to 9 PM and are available for private events as well. Look for some wine pairing dinners here.
