unique” says co-owner Randy Ellis. “Everybody knows our product is nice and fresh because they see it being cooked. All the clams are local and harvested in Tampa Bay and we now feature Joe Island clams.” Monday is Taco Night, Tuesday Hogfish Snapper, Wednesday they
have Live Maine Lobster at market price, Thursday is Chop Shop Prime Rib, Friday Fish Fry, Saturday is Chop Shop NY Strip Night and Sunday features their Homemade Meatloaf Special. Amazing prices and all are so good.
One of the many new menu items is their house-made Bacon, which is maple and brown sugar-cured, and hickory smoked right there. Owners Randy Ellis and David Sadler have nurtured their place to really make it a great bar/restaurant with great entertainment. Modern Chop Steakhouse is a welcome addition to this area’s dining scene with a sophisticated and stylish restaurant from the same owners as the extremely popular and successful Sage Biscuit Café. This is a new concept for partners Nicole Praessel, Joseph Moreta, and Jose Moreta, located next to Blake Hospital at 1830 59th St. W in Bradenton. Modern Chop’s dining room is completely renovated with bril- liant LED lighting, stylish table settings, and a large bar with full liquor fea- turing signature craft cocktails and martinis, draft and bottled beer, and a
