On a personal note:
“This is a very proud moment in my life with my dear mentee of five years, Marisol Valle. She not only graduated recently from high school, but also from the wonderful Take Stock In Children (Manatee County) program
where withmentors,com- mitted students can gain col- lege scholarships.
This is a fantastic organisa- tion with a very worthy cause supporting higher education. It was a wonderful experi- ence for me and Marisol as we grew together through the journey of ups and
downs plus Covid chal- lenges!

A few sad passings...
So sorry to lose one of the area’s best guitarists and great friend, mentor tomanyandfun local Sarasota guy. Greg Poulos

Also to another worker bee in
the restaurant industry, Eddie C. who was recently with Kurtos Chimney Cakes and also a few years at the Radisson on Lido Beach. A ‘Jersey Guy’ who always
had a
smile and kind word and great restaurant skills...Still here and carrying on is England’s Queen Elizabeth. Thanks for your serv- ice, dedication and love of country and people, ma’am.
