Although he is not new in the restaurant business, Owner Vinny Esposito has had great success at his Italian market and gourmet deli, Vinny’s Italian Kitchen at 5537 Gulf Drive in Holmes Beach, (941- 896-9754). A paisan from Newark, New Jersey, Vinny is an extremely personable fellow who really loves what he does, and what he does is create some delicious and authentic Italian cuisine right in “the heart of Anna Maria Island.” Assisting him daily is his friendly girlfriend Virginia, who runs the front of house nicely.
Vinny’s Italian Kitchen is situated in the beautiful AMI Plaza location. The store is cozy and inviting with to-go orders only, (plus food and wine shopping inside). They specialize in gourmet take-out, especially dinners. Vinny's Italian Kitchen offers authentic Italian food with many items imported from Italy. A native of Italy, Chef Vincenzo and staff prepares all dishes in the kitchen by hand, just like his mother and grandmother before him. Featuring a bakery as well, Vinny's offers a full menu of almost every Italian dish imaginable, he only uses the freshest ingredients available to prepare rustic, old-school Italian dishes.
