Bar, every dish is as delicious as the memories it will create. From the twirl of homemade pasta to the freshness of the specialty seafood, your meal is garnished with history and flavor. Here, the classics are revered - the classic Italian pasta dishes, like chicken parmesan or spaghetti and meatballs, adorned with selections from a trifecta of sauces: sweet, medium, or hot.
But it's not just the food that will capture your heart. The cocktails, handcrafted and timeless, are as much a part of the experi- ence as the food. Sipping on a smoked old-fashioned or a smooth Manhattan, you'll feel the spirit of the speakeasy era come alive, igniting your evening with an intoxicating buzz. Speaks Clam Bar is not just a restaurant; it’s a destination that transports you, making for unforget- table moments, family gatherings, or a takeout on a lonely evening.
At Kojo the flavors of Asia are reimagined with an exciting twist that speaks to the adventurer within. This isn’t just a dining experi- ence; it's an expedition for the senses, where innovation meets tradition on a plate. Nestled in the heart of Sarasota’s dining scene at 1289 N. palm Avenue, Sarasota (941-536-9717), Kojo is a beacon of contempo- rary taste. Here, chefs weave magic into every dish, creating a tapestry of flavors that dazzle and delight. The daring tuna pizza redefines your con- ception of an Italian classic, while the Nori Tacos encapsulate the essence of the ocean in a few bite size wonders. Pork Belly Bao Buns, Toro Sashimi, Mushroom Rice Pot, Spicy Wagyu Noodles, and Hawaiian Sunrise Dessert are just some of the top favorites of the regular guests.
Each creation is a brushstroke of culinary artistry, designed to be savored as much with the eyes as with the palate. But the experience doesn’t end with the food. Kojo’s selection of exquisite cocktails and pre- mium Sake flows as a perfect companion to the vibrant dishes, each sip enhancing the meal into an occasion worth celebrating.
In the stylish ambiance of Kojo, adorned with warm woods imported from Thailand, each visit becomes a precious memory. Whether it's laughter echoing over a surprising dish or a toast raised in celebration of the night, Kojo transforms moments into milestones. Guests may find themselves at the lively celebration tables at the dining room's heart or tucked away in intimate, cozy booths. Visit for dinner nightly.
Hometown Desserts began in 2007 as a business that sup- plied cake for family and friends. The foundation, however, was laid 50 years ago when Owner Cindy Tutterow was born into a family of southern women who loved to cook. As a child, Cindy spent many days standing in a chair, pushed up to the kitchen counter, watching as her mother and grandmothers lovingly created delicious meals. In the sum- mertime, Cindy, along with her mother, grandmother and sisters would sit around the kitchen table and peel peaches in preparation for can- ning or grate fresh coconuts to make homemade cakes. These are the special times that shaped the enjoyment she has for creating her own homemade treats today.
Over the years of Cindy’s dedicated and hard work, Hometown Desserts has grown into a thriving company that provides delicious desserts to wholesale and retail customers in the Bradenton/Sarasota area. Great care is given to developing and perfect-
