Things do change in a pandemic. A good example of this is the
very popular Amore Restaurant now at 180 N. Lime Ave (corner of Fruitville), Sarasota (941-383-1111). Charming owners Tito and Liana Vitorino closed their Burn’s Court restaurant last spring and decided to downsize to their new location which Liana cannot help calling “a little gem.” It is lovely and cozy with 60 seats and an additional 24 outside. New here is their recent renovation as they have taken out the booths and added new tables and chairs which is more comfortable. Also new is the lovely Portuguese blue and white tile throughout, a nice touch of home for Liana and Tito. The outside dining is also much better now and they have 150 free parking spaces available! Plus, only 3 to 5 minutes away from the Sarasota Opera House, Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe, Urban Theatre, Downtown Sarasota.
