Celebrating their third year at their newer location is Rosemary & Thyme at 511 North Orange Avenue, Sarasota (941- 955-7600). Under the ownership of George Armstrong who also has The Rosemary eight doors south. The Rosemary is closed at the moment while the new Rosemary & Thyme is a dinner only restaurant, and what a restaurant it is!
Rosemary & Thyme has a smart and cozy bar with full liquor and three welcoming rooms from which to choose. Tables are spaced and there is plenty of room. There is even a lovely expanded outdoor terrace dining area that is just perfect for this time of year again, with plenty of space and blocked off areas for safe dining. The style and color scheme is similar to the original Rosemary as is the cuisine, including some of the favorites with more seafood entrees like Paella, Mahi Mahi Ponzu, Walnut-Crusted Sea Bass and Salmon Finocchio. Save room for the Tomahawk Pork Chop, Osso Buco, Duck L’Orange and more. Lighter selections including a variety of salads are available along with a creative selection of appetizers and desserts.
Enjoy their Sunday Brunch with $10 Mimosas and Bloody Marys along with great foods served. Be sure to enjoy a meal here or just order ahead for pick-up. They are also in walking distance from all downtown hotels and offer pre-theater dining. Great staff will make your next dinner at Rosemary & Thyme one to remember.
