"they are different!” Not the normal fare
you expect to see in any shop. What you
will find at Ginny & Jane E’s is a unique
and funky collection of local art and
antiquities all sourced locally from talented artists who sell on consign- ment. They have one of kind a artwork, jewelery, handmade bracelets and necklaces, custom T-shirts, handmade art made from shells and beach finds. You will also find unusual chairs, tables, lamps, odds and ends, that you cannot find elsewhere. These artists and pickers are the heart and soul of Ginny's and Jane E's. They hope you will find an item that calls your name.
Ginny& JaneE’sislocatedintheHistoricCityofAnna Maria, a quaint "Old Florida" area on the north end of Anna Maria Island. Here you will experience the sound of people enjoying a meal together with their friends and neighbors. Very comforting...Their very popular cafe and bakery offers a great breakfast and lunch menu. Their cinnamon rolls and key lime pies are famous sellers. Comfort food is the primary word here with breakfast items offered including a variety of egg sandwiches, scrambled eggs, Mediterranean Breakfast Wrap and Crème Brulée French toast. They homemake their pancakes using a tra- ditional recipe by melting butter and use whole milk.
New here is their healthy menu with cage-free eggs, nitrate free bacon and ham, locally sourced produce in season, local dairy from Dakin Farms in Myakka City and non-GMO sprays used in their cooking. Lunch items like the Chicken or Tuna Salad on a wheat, Spinach Salad Wrap served with an artisan lettuce salad or a Philly Cheesesteak, help make up a menu of lunch choices all made fresh in house. How about a Spinach Salad with grilled chicken on top or a great Cuban Sandwich (amazing when I was there recently), Hamburger or Grilled Chicken Club? They offer wine and beer, (in their famous frosted mugs) and Ginny & Jane E’s is a terrific place to meet and eat with the locals, enjoy free Wi-Fi and shop till you drop everyday until 4PM.
Looking for something beachy? Try their shop next door called the Beach Hut where you will find those necessities you need to help you stay comfortable when you are playing in the sun and sand.
At the Beach Hut they provide beach supplies, like suntan lotion, sun- glasses, flip flops and other items to help you have fun and stay com- fortable while at the beach. New here is the slow-churned ice cram cones from Edys, yummm!

A lovely intimate setting with creative cuisine to enjoy, all for you new at The Porch on Anna Maria
those entering this beautiful building.
Over the many years,
dating back to 1913, this place has been a cottage, home, daycare, and monument to the community. Surrounded by Island beauty and it con- tinues to show resilience over time. Once called the Royal Palms, the building located at 9707 Gulf Drive, Anna Maria (941-782-8683) was built in 1913 and sold to Professor Nichols as a winter getaway and also as a rental. Around the year 1920, there were a total of 60 cottages that the Anna Maria Beach Company had built and were renting. The area has been growing ever since, especially today! By 1960, this build- ing was a daycare - you can still see handprints that have been stamped into the cement sidewalk at the front entrance of the building and was most recently the popular Sign of the Mermaid restaurant for years.
